The whole idea of “Tea in a Capsule” came from feedback by our clients, who told us they appreciated our help in resolving their issues, ranging from anxiety and depression, to the search for an aid in weight loss and something to help give them a good nights sleep, when taking our herbal mixtures but -
they absolutely hated the nasty, lingering taste of the liquified herbs we were using
So we decided to use the same herbs and plant extracts but instead of using them in their liquid form, we switched to the dried, powder form, which can be easily filled into standard ‘00’ size gelatin capsules
The gelatin capsule protects the users tongue and taste buds from the awful taste of the beneficial herb / plant extract and quickly dissolves once in the stomach, where we cannot taste things and then allowing the herbs / plant extracts to start to work.
Of course, ingesting the whole herb/plant extract means you get all 100% the benefits you paid for.... not just some - like when you steep as a tea and throw away up to 40% the benefits with the grinds / tea leaves
I am following my life long interest in the workings of the human body. I started, many years ago, by successfully studying for my degree in medical pathology, which provided me with excellent medical knowledge of all the bodies functions and systems, before I became a Qualified and Registered Naturopath.
